Camp Information
Area GA/Acteen camp is held June 19-23, 2023 at Alto Frio Baptist Encampment in Leakey TX for girls who have completed 1st grade through just graduated high school. We provide several activities everyday designed to help the girls have fun as well as learn more about God. Our focus is on missions and we have a missionary. We have Bible study every morning and and worship service in the evening as well as “Fun Time” in which girls can sing songs, and perform skits, etc. Please bring all music and needed items with you as we will no longer be able to download missing music. We also have arts and crafts, and recreation for all of the girls, and for grades 1-5 we have mission fair. The fee of $200.00 includes 4 nights lodging and 12 meals. There is a $20.00 non-refundable registration deposit this is part of the $200.00 cost. Everyone that pre-registers will receive a theme based t-shirt, shirts will be sold to others on a first come-first served basis and cannot be guaranteed. Pre-registration deadline is May 31, 2023! For our new churches, the pool is open for a little bit Monday afternoon so plan to arrive early to allow your girls time to swim before our first activities start!
The grade that you have just finished will be the grade that you will be in for activities while at camp, for example if you have just completed 5thgrade you will attend 5thgrade activities during camp. Every sponsor must have a current child molestation awareness and prevention certificate, these certifications are valid for two years.
